The UnlockThis app is required to lock or unlock an Urbee bicycle. During the booking process, Gaiyo asks if you want to install the UnlockThis app.
Follow the following steps for a successful reservation:
- Search for an Urbee bicycle via Gaiyo and click on "Book now".
- Check your order information and click "Confirm".
- Go to your Gaiyo dashboard and click on your Urbee bike reservation.

If you have not yet installed the UnlockThis app, you will be redirected to the Apple App store or Google Playstore and download and install this app.
(If you have already installed the UnlockThis app, you will be automatically redirected to the UnlockThis app and you can use your Urbee bike.)
Pay attention! Do NOT create an account via the UnlockThis app, because this is done automatically via your Gaiyo account.
- After installing the UnlockThis app, go back to Gaiyo and click on your reservation on your dashboard to start your bike rental.
